NAKED IN NEW ORLEANS, a completed film script is a romantic comedy set days before a hurricane in rural Louisiana . A runaway housewife and her gorgeous but chauvinistic Tulane professor get lost with her out of control adolescent son and a cast of low life characters. The couple must escape forbidden entanglements as a hurricane approaches behind them. NAKED IN NEW ORLEANS captures upper class New Orleans society, kind of a "Gone with the Wind" gone awry; privileged characters on the verge of decadence and violence struggling to find honor in an environment in quicksand. I show you a world rarely viewed by outsiders, the New Orleans top drawer, in all their defiant and jaded sensuality, ordering ice coffee while their lives collapse.

INT. LEGERE BEDROOM, NEW ORLEANS- NIGHT
As credits roll, we see KITTEN LEGERE, 38, China doll beautiful, studying with a flashlight while her husband, QUINT 45, athletic and intense sleeps.
EXT. STREETS, NEW ORLEANS - DAY
Next, she races her Mercedes convertible to a carpool line at Jesuit High School. She balances her book on the steering wheel and reads; makes a quick call to her cell phone. She almost hits BUNKY, her son, 15 in khaki uniform walking to the car. Kitten waves at him desperately to get in but he signals he has a ride and scoots into a pack of uniformed boys, getting lost in a sea of khaki.
Kitten rushes back down Saint Charles Avenue, swerving before a trolley, running a red light,speeding by popsicle-colored Victorian mansions. She zings before Gibson Hall at Tulane University and hunts madly for a parking spot.
INT. LEGERE MANSION - NIGHT
Kitten rushes up the steps past a sign “Happy Birthday to the best mother and wife” into the
DOUBLE PARLORS
A party is setting up. She dodges a MAID with large serving trays and a WAITER setting up glasses of champagne at a bar. A five piece ORCHESTRA tunes up. The CONDUCTOR looks at Quint, dressed in a tuxedo. (CLICK BELOW FOR MORE EXCERPTS)
